Introducing Wild Hearts Cooperative Preschool
A Parent-Led Nature-Based Program
We’re excited to introduce a new chapter in The Garden’s story — a parent-led, nature-based experience for families who value community, connection, and time in nature.
This unique program offers parents the opportunity to be active participants in their child’s education while enjoying the beauty and balance of outdoor learning, connecting with like-minded families and bringing down the cost of tuition.
What Is the Cooperative Program?
This model brings families into the heart of the classroom.
Parents will work together to create a nurturing, engaging environment where children learn through exploration, play, and connection with nature. Every family has the opportunity for a parent to volunteer to lead their child’s class for 1x/wk or for 1x/month each academic year, depending on the preference of the family.
The Garden provides all the essentials:
- Beautiful, curated outdoor classrooms and learning spaces
- Montessori-inspired and nature-based learning materials
- Art, science, and sensory materials
- Cleaning and sanitation supplies
- Administrative support and parent volunteer coordination
- Training and an easy to follow cirriculum to help parents feel confident in their roles
Parents will also have the freedom to plan any additional activities or go “off-book” from the provided cirrciulum as they see fit or are able. Each group’s parents meet quarterly to discuss and coordinate.
Program Schedule
Choose the rhythm that works for your family:
- 2-Day Program: Tuesday & Thursday
- 3-Day Program: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Hours: 8:45am-12:45pm (ages 3-6), 8:30am-12:30pm (ages 18-36mo)
